Privacy Policy

Your Privacy Matters, Last updated: July 11, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Pinkrea (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We operate the website located at www.pinkrea.com (the “Site”) and provide a free web-based tool for creating Pinterest pins.

We built Pinkrea with a core philosophy: minimal data collection. We believe that creators shouldn’t have to sacrifice their privacy to use great design tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Site and services. By accessing or using Pinkrea, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Our “Zero-Account” & Minimal Data Approach

Unlike traditional SaaS platforms, Pinkrea is designed to respect your privacy by default:

  • No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, provide your name, or enter an email address to generate pins.
  • No Content Storage: We do not store, save, or back up the Pinterest pins, images, or text you generate using our tool.
  • No Data Selling: We will never sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.

3. Information We Do Collect

To keep Pinkrea free and functioning, we collect a very limited amount of anonymous, non-personal data:

  • Usage Statistics: We collect anonymous data regarding how the tool is used (e.g., which templates are most popular, browser types, and device types) to improve our features.
  • Technical Data: Standard server logs, such as IP addresses (used temporarily for rate-limiting to prevent abuse) and error logs to fix bugs.

4. How We Handle Your Generated Content

You own what you create.

  • Ephemeral Processing: When you create a pin, the data is processed in real-time. Once the image is generated and delivered to your browser, it is immediately purged from our active memory. We do not maintain a database of user-generated content.
  • No AI Training or Stock Usage: We will never use your generated pins to train artificial intelligence models, nor will we add your designs to stock image libraries.
  • Direct Posting: If you choose to use our Pinterest API integration to save a pin directly to your board, the data is transmitted securely from your browser to Pinterest. Pinkrea acts only as a secure conduit and does not retain a copy of the pin.

5. Data Security

Your security is our priority. We implement industry-standard measures to protect the Site:

  • All data transmission between your browser and Pinkrea is encrypted using secure SSL/TLS protocols (HTTPS).
  • We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies sparingly and strictly for the functionality of the Site:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the Pin Creator tool to function properly (e.g., saving your temporary design preferences in your browser).
  • Analytics Cookies: We use privacy-focused analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand traffic patterns. This data is strictly anonymous.
  • No Ad Tracking: We do not use invasive third-party tracking cookies for behavioral advertising.
  • You can easily disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of the design tool.

7. Third-Party Services

Pinkrea relies on a few trusted third-party services to operate. These partners are bound by their own strict privacy policies:

  • Hosting & Infrastructure: Secure cloud servers to host the website and process image generation.
  • Analytics: To monitor site performance and user experience.
  • Pinterest API: If you choose to connect your Pinterest account, we interact directly with Pinterest’s secure API. We encourage you to review Pinterest’s Privacy Policy.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR in Europe and CCPA in California), you have specific rights regarding your data:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of any personal data we might hold (though, as noted, we hold almost none).
  • Right to Deletion: Request the deletion of your data. Since we do not store your content or require accounts, there is virtually nothing to delete, but we will fulfill any technical requests.
  • Right to Opt-Out: You can opt out of analytics tracking by using browser “Do Not Track” settings or disabling cookies.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below.

9. Children’s Privacy

Pinkrea is a general-audience tool and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete it immediately.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, if necessary, displaying a prominent notice on our homepage.

11. Contact Us
